2020

November 2016 Healthy Schools Week - Week Beginning 18th May 2015

The school took part in a week full of health and wellbeing activities to promote healthy and happy living, as part of the wider Public Health Campaign '2020 Northamptonshire.'

As part of the 2020 Healthy Schools Week children covered a variety of tasks linked with the areas below;

  • Healthy Eating
  • Physical Activity
  • Emotional Wellbeing

Healthy Eating

Children have learnt how to make a healthy snack and shared the recipes with their adults.

The tray bake went down well with both parents and children.

Charlie asked for more and Ebony's mum reported it was nice.

Emotional Wellbeing

The Year One class thought about worries and how they make you feel.  The children decided it was a good idea to share their worries and to let them go. Every child wrote down a worry and decided to throw it away.

Children screwing up their worries.

Let it go!

Physical Activity

Children competed in variety of competitive sporting activities.

Well done to the Yellow house point team, in Year One for winning the Year One competition.
