At Hardingstone Academy we follow the statutory primary national curriculum, including programmes of study for all subjects at key stages 1 and 2, except languages which are only studied at key stage 2.

Our curriculum for the Foundation subjects are planned as a 2 year rolling programme so that the teachers can plan and work closely together to provide a stimulating and exciting curriculum for the children of Hardingstone Academy.

Topics may change due to the experiences of the children. Some topics may be extended due to the response from the children or to allow topics to be studied in greater depth not just through the national curriculum statutory requirements.
