Consultation to extend our nursery provision
We are currently consulting on a proposal to establish 2 year old provision at Hardingstone Academy to work alongside the existing pre school provision for 3 - 4 year olds.
This 2 year provision would be part of our school and would help to establish strong foundations for children’s education from an early age and ensure their smooth transition into full-time education with us.
By establishing a new 2 year old provision and altering our school age range, we hope to increase our intake so that it reaches maximum capacity by September 2026.
The pre-school would be open to children aged two to three, with a morning and an afternoon session available. It would also be open to parents qualifying for 30 hours free childcare a week under the Government scheme. This service will not run if we do not have sufficient capacity.
